Great subject. I started writing a book about Jesus just because of this. I may never finish it but let me give you a few things. In John 7:22. The Jewish leaders tried to find Jesus at the festival. Halfway through the festival, after the Jewish leaders had asked the crowd if anyone had seen Jesus, Jesus went up to the temple and began to teach. The crowd told him that He was demon possessed.

John 7:21-24

21 Jesus replied, "I did one miracle on the Sabbath, and you were amazed. 22 But you work on the Sabbath, too, when you obey Moses' law of circumcision. (Actually, this tradition of circumcision began with the patriarchs, long before the law of Moses.) 23 For if the correct time for circumcising your son falls on the Sabbath, you go ahead and do it so as not to break the law of Moses. So why should you be angry with me for healing a man on the Sabbath? 24 Look beneath the surface so you can judge correctly."

What is important here is that Jesus said that circumcision was from the Jewish patriarchs, not from Moses. It was not handed down by God. So, anywhere the Bible states to circumcise is not of God (except circumcision of the heart). We know that circumcision was from man, not God. So, the Bible is not perfect. Jesus said so.

There are many other problems with the laws of the Old Testament and even some in the New Testament. In Genesis 9:1-3, God makes His covenant with Noah. He tells Noah

Genesis 9:1-3

9 Then God blessed Noah and his sons and told them, “Be fruitful and multiply. Fill the earth. 2 All the animals of the earth, all the birds of the sky, all the small animals that scurry along the ground, and all the fish in the sea will look on you with fear and terror. I have placed them in your power. 3 I have given them to you for food, just as I have given you grain and vegetables."

God doesn't mind us eating everything. Food prohibitions are from the patriarchs as well. God does not change His mind. So, Leviticus, the main "clobber passages" used to hate LGTBQ+ people is not from God.

What is from God is Jesus' two Great Commandments Matthew 22:37-40

37 Jesus replied, "'You must love the Lord your God with all your heart, all your soul, and all your mind.' 38 This is the first and greatest commandment. 39 A second is equally important: 'Love your neighbor as yourself.' 40 All the Law and the Prophets hang on these two commandments."

Also, Luke 6:37 37 "Do not judge others, and you will not be judged. Do not condemn others, or it will all come back against you. Forgive others, and you will be forgiven."

Then, there are my two favorite passages. 1 John 4:8 But anyone who does not love does not know God, for God is love. And Matthew 7:22-23 22 On judgment day many will say to me, 'Lord! Lord! We prophesied in your name and cast out demons in your name and performed many miracles in your name.' 23 But I will reply, 'I never knew you. Get away from me, you who break God’s laws.'

I might also mention that God is nonbinary. I knew this but I was very happy to see that the Archbishop of Canterbury said so. For people who don't understand this, God is not male or female. God does not have a sex. God does not procreate as humans do. God is spirit. So, God is nonbinary. This fact also applies to "Christian" men who believe that women are inferior as in 1 Corinthians 14:34 Women should be silent during the church meetings. It is not proper for them to speak. They should be submissive, just as the law says. This is from man, not God. Just another Bible error.

These hateful Conservative "Christians" are not Christians. They don't follow Jesus at all. I have bad news for them. God knows their hearts. As Jesus said Matthew 15:8 'These people honor me with their lips, but their hearts are far from me.' These are the wolves in sheep's clothing that Jesus warned of.
