I am exactly who I say I am and I say exactly what I mean. I try to play nice by helping other people all that I can but I don’t mind telling people off -when I think that they need that. When I say that I am very pro-LGTBQ+, I mean that my favorite Uncle became my aunt in 1972. Quite a while ago, right? My best friend in the 70s was a lesbian. She wanted me to be interested in her but I have liked men or boys since I was five or younger. I get that people are who they are and love who they love. That just is who I am. My first husband was bisexual. I wasn’t happy when he took off with his male love interest for a week, not because he was with a man but because he was cheating and left me alone. I respected him for being open to all types of people — transgender, gay and lesbian. I recently attended a church that was completely accepting of people of any gender identity. I didn’t leave that church because of that. That was a good thing. I left that church because of all of the people who had not the faintest conception of Jesus and didn’t mind not knowing. I had to wonder why they were even in church. My granddaughter explains every LGTBQ+ term to me. I’m glad that she is completely open too. I am exactly who I say I am and I say exactly what I mean. BTW — I’m street, I’m one of the boys, I’m an intellectual, I’m creative, I’m resourceful— I am many things. Don’t try to peg me as being what you would like to believe that I am. You will be wrong.
