How to Tell a Fake Christian from a Real Christian

--

Would you like to know how to know the difference between a real Christian and a fake one? I’m going to tell you. It is actually quite simple. Once you read this, you will be very able to spot the difference and you don’t need to be a Christian yourself to do so.

On Quora, there was this question “My aggressively Buddhist neighbor set out a Buddha statue in his front yard, and my kids see it every day. If I put a cross necklace around the statue’s neck without damaging it, can I be held liable?”

It should have been a joke but it wasn’t. There it was again rearing its ugly head. Fake Christianity.

I wrote an answer to this.

Jesus accepted all people. The parable of the Good Samaritan is one of the best examples. Luke 10:25–37. Samaritans were half-Jewish, half-Gentile, people who intermarried, Jews and Assyrians. The Jews hated the Samaritans but Jesus welcomed everyone. So, in His parable of the Good Samaritan, He pointed out that the Samaritan who had mercy on the man who had been beaten and robbed was a neighbor to the man while the priest and Levite who had passed the man by without stopping to help him were not neighbors to the man. Jesus was replying to an expert in the law.
