I just don’t understand you. What do you mean that the Church edited the gospels? Yes, the ending of Matthew had the addition of the Resurrection not originally included in this Gospel. Yes, some other writings in the New Testament, not the Gospels, are not in keeping with the life and times of Jesus. Explain exactly what the editing was. I will look over your writings to try to find out what you think was edited.

The Romans did not write the Gospels. Remnants of scripture have been found going back to before the Romans even had the Bible canonized. These include Coptic and Byzantine remnants of the scriptures, not Roman. Archaeologists have found these and published them. They are identical to the “Roman” versions. So, no, the Romans did not write the Gospels.
