Matthew 15:8-9

8 “‘These people honor me with their lips,

but their hearts are far from me.

9 They worship me in vain;

their teachings are merely human rules.’”

What Jesus taught was what was from God and what was not from God but from men in the Hebrew scriptures, the OT. That is actually what He was teaching. Yet, hateful people pick out passages in the OT to use against other people.
