I know that they are a bunch of racists. Both the Justins know this too. They are amazing young men. Justin Jones is amazing in the way that he has handled everything but Justin Pearson really left me in awe. I heard him speaking after he was expelled and I feel like he is the answer to a prayer. I have literally prayed to God that he would send another Dr. King. That is exactly what Justin Pearson sounded like. I know that they will not back down from the racists in the Tennessee Legislature.

I'm originally from New York State and I came back up here 25 years ago. after living in North Carolina. I have lived in Tennessee near Memphis and I lived in in Mount Airy, NC. After North Carolina, I would never want to live in the South again. The Klan showed up, camped in a farmer's field then held a rally at the court house. This is the same place that Oprah toured. Mount Airy is what Mayberry was fashioned on. Andy of Mayberry forgot to show the Klan part though. I was very afraid of the white people there.

That was 25 years ago but after seeing Trump, Charlottesville and everything else, I know that racism is still alive and well in the United States particularly in the South.

My heart goes out to you. Keep writing about all of this so that people will learn how this all works.
