If you carefully study the words of Jesus, you will see that the exclusivity is against people who are unloving. That would be most of the Christians who you see. The reason for this is that God is love. Hatefulness repels God. It isn't that God doesn't love them. It is that God can't stand their hateful nature. It is as if an innocent loving baby is suddenly struck hard by a hateful adult. That is horrible to the baby. Hate is horrible to God.
