Isaiah 1:11
11 "The multitude of your sacrifices—
what are they to me?” says the Lord.
“I have more than enough of burnt offerings,
of rams and the fat of fattened animals;
I have no pleasure
in the blood of bulls and lambs and goats."
What you have written is exactly what Jesus taught.
The only problem that I have with beliefs other than the teachings of Jesus is that He provided the perfect guide as to how to live and be. If there is no guide to follow, people often go in wrong directions just as much as bad Christians who cherry pick bad passages to use for their own purposes. Mankind is never able to be perfect in his reasoning. Mankind thinks of himself before others no matter how much he tries not to do so. That creates problems in this world.
I know that Jesus was God who came to earth to teach the truth. I know this because I looked at numerous religions, spiritualities and philosophies before I studied the four Gospels which are the words of Jesus that were written down. I don't believe the entire Bible, just the words of Jesus. I can say that if everyone had followed the teachings of Jesus, we would be living in Utopia now instead of the world that we now have which is becoming more hellish by the minute.
Unloving and uncaring hearts, man's inhumanity to man, selfishness and greed are all of the reasons for all of our problems. Jesus spoke against all of these. He spoke of the love that you speak of. Jesus provided the perfect guide. That is how I know that Jesus was and is God. God knows what is good for mankind. So, being an imperfect human being, I follow what He taught. In that way, I don't go in wrong directions. Then, I reach out to tell others how they can go in right directions too. Jesus really is the way, the truth and the life.
