It is the truth of Jesus. Pease read what I replied to Mike. I gave all of the pertinent passages. As an ex-pastor (I like the term Exvangelical), I would hope that you do know this. Too many teach the opposite of what Jesus taught and commanded. That is blasphemy and taking the Lord's name in vain. These are the false prophets who Jesus warned against.

And I hope that you are a Christian now. God is good. False prophets not so much. I hope that you didn't deconstruct your Christian faith, just the falsehoods of the wolves in sheep's clothing. I see many who have left Christianity because they blame God instead of the men who spoke lies about God.

I would be very interested to know why you were an Evangelical to begin with. I wasn't raised in a church. I was a scientific atheist for my first forty years until God came into my life very powerfully. So, I don't have an understanding of what causes people to choose Evangelicalism. Is it brainwashing? From what I have seen, this seems to be the case.

Thanks.

God bless you, brother
