Jesus was speaking of the last days when He said this.
Matthew 24:10-12
10 "At that time many will turn away from the faith and will betray and hate each other, 11 and many false prophets will appear and deceive many people. 12 Because of the increase of wickedness, the love of most will grow cold,"
This is the time we are living in. The love of many has grown cold because the naive have been gravely deceived by those who work for satan (lower case to disrespect).
Romans 16:18 For such people are not serving our Lord Christ, but their own appetites. By smooth talk and flattery they deceive the minds of naive people.
These are the wolves who Jesus spoke of.
Matthew 7:13-20
13 “Enter through the narrow gate. For wide is the gate and broad is the road that leads to destruction, and many enter through it. 14 But small is the gate and narrow the road that leads to life, and only a few find it."
15 “Watch out for false prophets. They come to you in sheep’s clothing, but inwardly they are ferocious wolves. 16 By their fruit you will recognize them. Do people pick grapes from thornbushes, or figs from thistles? 17 Likewise, every good tree bears good fruit, but a bad tree bears bad fruit. 18 A good tree cannot bear bad fruit, and a bad tree cannot bear good fruit. 19 Every tree that does not bear good fruit is cut down and thrown into the fire. 20 Thus, by their fruit you will recognize them."
If you would like to become a Christian, read the four Gospels--Matthew, Mark, Luke and John, so that you learn what the teachings and commands of Jesus are. They are all about loving your fellow man.
The false prophets, the wolves, are why you see hateful people calling themselves Christians. The naive have been deceived. True Christians love everyone because God is love.
Everything will be getting worse and worse in the next few years and God is the only way to be protected from the evil. It actually doesn't matter which religion you choose but Jesus did teach all of the right ways to God. And He taught about what was not from God but from men. All of the false prophets who you see right now are teaching the wrong ways. That did become worse starting in 2016.
There is no name for the movement except the last days or the end times or end of the age. This is because it will be the last days and end of time as we know it. It will be the end of the age we are now living in.
