Many claps. I keep saying that Conservative and Christian are opposites. If you look at many of the things that Jesus spoke against, you know that Leviticus was from man, not God. Jesus spoke against what was from man.

Jesus spoke against food prohibitions. Mark 7:14-16, Mark 7:19, Matthew 15:11, 15:17-20

Genesis 9:3, everything that lives and moves is food.

Jesus spoke against burnt offerings and sacrifices. Mark 12:33

So did Isaiah. Isaiah 1:11

Jesus explained that not everything that said it was from God was actually was given to Moses by God. John 7:22.

Jesus was speaking circumcision of the heart. 10:16-19, Deuteronomy 30:6, Romans 2:29.

So, anytime you see any of these in the Hebrew scriptures, the Old Testament, or even in the New Testament after the death and resurrection of Jesus, you know that these aren't from God but from men.

Understanding this, really helps you to see the truth. It is all about the heart and nothing else. As I have heard said, love is love. Anybody who doesn't agree with this, isn't a Christian. John 14:23-24, 1 John 3:10, Matthew 22:34-40--"All the Law and the Prophets hang on these two commandments."

Everyone is your neighbor. Luke 10:25-37

Do not judge others. Matthew 7:1-5, John 8:1-8

Matthew 6:24 “No one can serve two masters. Either you will hate the one and love the other, or you will be devoted to the one and despise the other. You cannot serve both God and money."

Luke 11:41 "But now as for what is inside you—be generous to the poor, and everything will be clean for you."

1 John 4:7-8

7 Dear friends, let us love one another, for love comes from God. Everyone who loves has been born of God and knows God. 8 Whoever does not love does not know God, because God is love.

Conservative and Christian are opposites. Jesus didn't care if someone was gay. Love is love.
