My heart goes out to you. I'm cisgender but with a different viewpoint. I am a Christian who knows that God is love and that Leviticus, which has helped the haters to promote their hate, should not be in the Bible. God ensured that I had many things happen in my life like the fact that my uncle became my aunt in 1972. She was one of the first to have this surgery in New York State and I loved her dearly. I adamantly defend LGTBQ rights. It is not that I know everything about your situation but it is that I know that this hate is evil. Keep writing about this and don't listen to the ignorant people who respond without knowing all of the facts. You are right in what you are saying. And I do know much of the history. I even know that black trans women are killed more often than any other type of person. God is love, not hate.
I had to come back to add to my reply.
"IF you have a platform to speak". I do, everywhere I can and often. You see, I am a Christian who actually walks with God. God ensured that I experienced many situations. Let me give you a little rundown.
I told you about my aunt. One of my best friends was a lesbian while I was in high school. My first husband was bisexual. He was always around many types of people--trans, gay and lesbian. I very much respected the fact that he didn't have any prejudice to people simply because of their identies.
I have know many LTGTQ+ people of every type. My beloved grand daughter even explains all of the correct terminolgy and names for any type of person to me. When I told my grandson that when he got older, he would have a girlfriend, my son quickly said or boyfriend and I echoed that to my grandson. My older daughter is also bisexual. All of it is in my family without any issue. I know that it shouldn't be an issue for anyone and that when it is, they are trying to control your life. They do not have that right.
So, I am well aware of the hatred that many people who call themselves Christians have toward LGTBQ people. When I see this, I explain the error of their ways. In fact, I constantly reach out everywhere I can to explain to people that they are wrong in being hateful and why they are wrong.
The reason I am telling you all of this is because I know how awful it is for you. I see violence including murder, I see trans people being denied medical care, I see hatred from ignorant people.
I want you to remember that you also have allies. I and others care very much about everything that you are going through and we are fighting for you. Please carry this with you. I will keep fighting the good fight for you and others because it is the right thing to do and because I care deeply and God does too.
