Rosalyn, my dear sister in Christ, Don’t take this personally. You said it yourself. It is the damage that people who have proclaimed themselves to be Christians have inflicted on the world. And this is getting worse all of the time. Satan is in the church. There are very few actual Christians these days. Most people use the Lord’s name in vain by calling themselves Christians while doing the opposite of everything that Jesus taught. All of those people who wrote bad things on Easter are hurt, frightened, and angry because they believe that the wolves in sheep’s clothing are Christians. They have no way of knowing the difference between who God is and who the wolves say God is. I call these people the innocents and my heart goes out to them. I have been waging a battle against the wolves for years because they are leading people away from Jesus. This is exactly what satan wants. I would suggest that you do the same. Don’t be hurt by the angry people who see only evil in Christians. Teach them who Jesus really is. I like to explain that God is love, not hate and that Jesus was the greatest social activist who ever lived. Help them to see the difference so that they might come to Jesus to know God’s love.
