Thank you from a mixed person. My son and I discuss white entitlement. He tells me that he considers himself white when relating to many people because he realizes that he has advantages over darker people. He actually looks more hispanic, part of our ethnicities. Many people walk up to him speaking Spanish but he is still light enough that many racist white people consider him white. He has been in some awful racist situations that he has told me about. This does exist and is used against people of color. If you realize this, as you have, you will have a much better understanding of how to help people of color to have the same rights as white people. These are rights that they are already supposed to have but often don't have. Help those who are being held back by hate.
