Very, very interesting. Several claps. I love archaeology and ancient history but I had never heard of this before. I'm so glad the murals were removed and taken to safe locations before ISIS looted them.

I would say that, in the mural of Jesus and Peter walking on water, Jesus is the figure on the right as we view it. The reason I think this is because Jesus is on top of the water while Peter is sinking into the water. Jesus is reaching out his hand and Peter is reaching up to take His hand. It is exactly as Matthew 14:29-31 states including the wind surrounding them.
