Wonderful observation. The only churches that are flourishing are the ones that are going against the teachings of Jesus completely. The wolves in sheep's clothing are deceiving the masses.

I believe that all of this will lead to a reawakening of true Christianity as the wolves are shown to be what they are and the churches that are not fully following the teachings of Jesus lose parishioners because they are complacent and not bringing people to a true understanding of God.

God does have a way of working it all out. The truth is the truth no matter how much people don't like to admit it.

These are currently the two types of churches.

Matthew 15:14 "Leave them; they are blind guides. If the blind lead the blind, both will fall into a pit.”

Matthew 10:26 “So do not be afraid of them, for there is nothing concealed that will not be disclosed, or hidden that will not be made known."

Young people see through both of these. They know innately because God whispers in their ears.
