You are so right. When my oldest daughter was 12, I took her to the doctor for a checkup. The doctor said that he wanted to speak with her alone. He offered her birth control in private. I was surprised because I knew that my daughter was not yet sexually active but I didn't go against the doctor doing this.

I am afraid that the deeply dogmatic will take great exception to this type of thing. If this was done, there would be lawsuits and media attention. It is just so sad that kids are caught in the middle of all of this. They are the ones being hurt. They should be free to grow, develop and be themselves.
